4 days overdue my man, the wait is keeeelin me.

Im sure you guys will live up to the expectations; I love world/universe building and especially to see how the ideas and worlds develop and why the creators chose to do so.

Thanks for the compliment man, got a new piece thats gonna be rollin out with in the next day or so here and its the one you wanted me to finish - soooo..im nervous about not living up to what others expect for the piece.
Hopefully my final version will be received well.

Life can be sooo Challenging! Got to keep a roof of your head and food in your stomach.
All the while trying not to keep your true loves; and trying to make a living from them; if your lucky. Joe, Eric, when I first join DA, you were the First two artist, who when I saw your work, Really got me thinking about my love for creating and how i put it down for 7yrs. After seeing Aardehn/Celeste and Joes concepts, It was like walking into realms I had forgotten about! I think you both have great GOD given abillity, and when the timing is right I really hope you finish Aardehn. There are many Great Artist out there, but the abillity to dream and put it down effectivly is what make the differance. People i dont know these guys personally but one thing I know for sure is that Good uninhibited imagination is hard to come buy and should be helped and encourged where ever it can be found. I know most may wonder what my motives are and that i am talking a load of kiss tail. But watch them! ("thinking with a grin" that should put some fire in their... Now they have to finish waht theY started , and i can finish Aardehn and get a few more non comercial drawings out of them) hehe.

this is definitely a labor of love, as none of us are getting paid! well...not in $ anyways...

and to v3-i think version 3.0 will have to be something that houses my cintiq 20wsx! maybe a modification to the animation section of that monster 2.0desk ...

That old laminated table happened to be Art Desk version 2.0 made by my dad with some dutch love! I think a version 3.0 will be making an appearance at Vriens household version 2.0.... ok V3.0 out!

Oh boy, here we go.

By far the strongest work to come out of us is the work we didnt get paid for, and that is true because it was made up of heart and soul.

Nothing quite like having a dumbass moron editors who know nothing about art hack at your work and try to make you into something you're not.

For those who don't know, this site is basically a tribute to that type of art that is devoid of greed/partiallity/marketting and any other filters.

This one is for the old laminated table at the Vriens household which has suffered much of my art, as well as other periods over the last decade.

We single handedly supported Tim Hortons and made them what they are today by the amnount of coffee we drank while drawing.

Those days are gone for now, and we have bills to pay, but this is a testamony that this things did exist, and maybe they can be brought back to life again.
